What our clients say

Testimonials

I would highly recommend Autism Assessment UK to those looking for a thorough, professional and efficient service to ascertain diagnosis. We felt in good hands from the very start. The assessment process was straightforward for us, and the final reports were really detailed. Everything was talked through with us and explained. We were given advice on how to talk to our son about the diagnosis and signposted to a range of resources.

We contacted Autism Assessment UK because we suspected our 6 yr old son had autism. were about 18 months in to a 24+ month NHS waiting list and felt that we needed an answer sooner, so we could ensure we were giving him the right support.

I want to thank all who were involved in this process. The admin team who always responded to emails quickly and politely, Carly who made my daughter’s anxieties melt away with her warm approach and caring nature, the other clinicians who reviewed all of the evidence and yourself for taking me through this whole process in a clear and easy to follow way. Exploring a diagnosis for a child brings a rollercoaster of emotions with it and I really felt that you understood that and were empathetic to what we were going through.

Testimonial 1

Katie and her team at Autism Assessment UK have been excellent. The assessment process was thorough. There were multiple inputs from professionals such as Paediatrics, Speech & Language therapist, and of course Clinical Psychologists.

At all times Katie and her team were friendly, reassuring, helpful and very professional. My son does not do well in social situations and felt very anxious on arrival for an assessment, but he very quickly relaxed because of their approach.

Testimonial 2

Katie, Anne and their team were amazing! They were professional but sensitive, caring and supportive at a time when we as a family felt very vulnerable. They were thorough and conscientious when working with our daughter. Katie was at the end of the phone when we had questions and we couldn’t have asked for more. The small team means there’s continuity and consistency in their approach. We never felt like phone calls were rushed or assessments weren’t thoroughly investigated. I can very much recommend Autism Assessment Uk. Thank you Katie, Anne and your team.
