Speech and Language Therapist
Brief info
Beth qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist at the University of St Mark and St John in 2017. Beth has worked within community speech and language therapy teams, child development centres and as part of the autism assessment teams within NHS trusts, specialising in working with people with autism and learning disabilities.
Beth has worked as part of the therapy team in a specialist educational and residential college for young people with autism and complex needs, and is experienced in delivering interventions such as specialised language development programmes, PECS, Attention Autism and VERVE.
Beth currently works within specialist neurodevelopmental assessment services, carrying out assessments for autism and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) including use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) as well as use of the the BOSA (Brief Observation of Symptoms of Autism), and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R).
